This US Navy destroyer was launched on 27 May 1945. The original vessel name was “USS Sarsfield”. In 1977, this warship was sold to Republic of China Navy.
Before it was decommissioned in 1 April 2005, the ship was served in the Republic of China Navy as ROCS Te Yang (DD-925). The maximum cruising speed was 32.5 knots.
After a series of refurbishment, it has been converted as a museum in 2011.
