Pu Erh tea, a speciality from the Yunnan province of China, is my favourite type of tea - following a long time drinking primarily Japanese green teas - most of which were to be found in the sencha category.

This tea wrapper has been made from bark from the Paper Mulberry tree in village in the Bulang area of Yunnan, China, close to the famous village of Banzhang.

I took a photo of the tea wrapper about a month ago after drinking the last of it. Pu-Erh tea traditionally comes in compressed 'tea cakes' traditionally weighing 357 grams.

This 2012 vintage tea was from Bulang in the Yunnan province located in the southwestern parts of China. Bulang Shan us a famous area in the region known for powerful, bitter and long-lived teas.

Tea goes well with calligraphy, which goes well with taking and editing photos, I think, however, it's not what could be referred to as a pleasant drinker, it's complex, bitter and many-flavoured, and due to its stage of aging, has powerful secondary aromas.
