At the foot of Knockan Crag there is a lochan that on a clear still day reflects the mountains of Inverpolly namely Coigach, Stac Pollaidh and most impressively Cul Mor. I had high hopes for this particular morning as it was predicted that there would be very little wind and a relatively clear morning such that the rising sun would project its light on the peaks. Alas it was breezy and totally clear and cloudless but I had no complaints at the colour generated with red mist boiling off the summit of Cul Mor.
