I struggled a bit with an achilles injury to get down what was ostensibly a decent path to perch myself in a suitable crevice where I could watch a fine summer sunrise develop. I took a few shots but this one just worked out best an exposure time of eight or so seconds ensured that i picked up the last flashes of the light from the red and white painted Tarbertness barbers pole lighthouse, the morning light reflected off the front face of the lighthouse itself and that roll of cloud with its satellite trailing clouds pulls the eye nicely into the middle of the picture along with the fingers of red sandstone rock catching first light. Hope you like it as much as I do.
