Judges Comments

(i) Content (story, mood etc): A portrait of the lizard standing on a post. To go to the next level, photograph it doing something (like catching an insect)
(ii) Composition: It's central location makes us focus on its face, as does the strong contrast between its colourful head and the black background behind its head
(iii) Technical (lighting etc): Excellent lighting on the animal which brings out its textures, colours, shapes etc
