Today we went to Pensacola to visit our good friends Mickey and Ken. We have known them since our kids were Cub Scouts. Because of scheduling issues, Ken took us to the Naval Aviation Museum on Pensacola Naval Air Station. We were able to go because he has DOD identification. Without that, you can't get onto the base. I had been to the museum several times before, but it is always a treat to go there. Ken is a retired Marine Corps pilot and also a Space Shuttle commander. He has all sorts of knowledge which makes visiting the airplanes more interesting. We returned to the house and hung out and visited. Mickie (a professional chef) prepared a dinner to die for. It was shrimp, pasta with lobster bisque sauce, broccolini and spicy olives. A great day.
