Heading home today. It is an eight hour drive from Pensacola to our house. We spent some time chatting with Ken and Mickie and then hit the road. The weather was good. The traffic was good. We rolled into the driveway after dark. The initial idea was to just crash and leave the unpacking to the next day. Good idea, but neither of us want to leave the job undone. So we unpacked the car, turned on the water and started the router. We were home. The photo for today shows the tale of the odometer. 1785 miles is not a real long one. We did all that driving in essentially four days which make the travel days over 400 miles on the average. Of course it was worth it. Visiting friends and family is one good reason for a road trip. Btw - our 2012 Odyssey has 208,00 miles on it. A very good car!
