Before this, all of my photography was strictly film.
Shooting an SLR meant shooting everything manual. You had to know how to use a camera.
I've had a camera in my hands since I was seven; so, I learned young.

I became the official family Christmas photographer way, way back as a young child in 3rd grade.
In those days, my father owned the camera. I was the one who used it.

Although I don't remember exactly "how" or "why" things all started, I do remember Christmases
and photos taken a long time before the above photo;
which itself was shot a very long time ago.
