Annemarie Stein was a resident of Koblenz.
She was animal loving woman who would make the rounds of the bars in the city, to find the necessary money to feed the stray dogs and cats of the town.
She apparently also sold Peppermints, which are called Pfefferminz in German.
Kind of nice that they put up a statue to honor an animal rescuer.
