You can see by the foggy and overcast sky that the weather wasn't great.
It wasn't raining but it was very chilly.
The weather forecast was for it to clear up by the afternoon.
We kept our fingers crossed because that was when we would head up the Rhine to see the twenty castles that can be viewed from the river.
For the morning we had a wonderful tour of Koblenz, a very pretty, small city with many fun statues for me to take photos of.
