While staying at The Markland Coastal Beach Cottages in Dingwall, NS, I walked this stony beach and came upon these busy Sanderlings with Bonaparte's Gulls.
Originally ID'ed these as Semipalmated Sandpipers - changed ID to Sanderlings per eBird reviewer (David McCorquodale) request.
Was surprised at finding three flocks on this stretch of beach.
