When I first saw the challenge topic, I thought this was one I couldn't shoe horn a cat picture into, but I had forgotten about my little wooden cat. So I put her on my favorite mousepad (a scene from Catsablanca), and used my R7 to do a focus stack. The R7 takes focus stacking beyond what the M6II or 90D can do. It does the stacking for you in camera. This 25 shot focus stack was handheld, and took about 20 seconds total. The 25 shots take less than a second to take, and then the in-camera processing took about another 20 seconds. It's like magic. I cropped and enhanced the image in Lightroom.
