Today we started the sightseeing portion of our trip. Up until now it has been visiting friends which is fun. Our travel took us from Greenville, Indiana to Niagara Falls, New York. It was an eight hour drive. These relocation drives tend to be long. We arrived in Niagara Falls a little after 4:15 and hit the WalMart to get some supper. Upon checking into our hotel, we ate and rested then headed out to the falls. There is a fireworks display at 10:00 pm so we walked over to American Falls with hundreds of our closest friends arriving in time to watch the fireworks. I love fireworks! The falls are illuminated at night. They are very pretty but hard to photograph from Prospect Park. Maybe we will do a little reconnaissance tomorrow to find a good spot. Anyway, the photo today is of the illuminated American Falls from Prospect Park. You can see Horseshoe Falls in the background illuminated blue.
