"Chapter 6, Winter Operations
Although the wolf is reputed to thrive in the harsh snows of winter, this is in fact mostly propaganda spread by wolves who aren't smart enough to do the big sad eyes routine to score themselves a warm bed in a hoomin home. In fact, you should ensure that your wolf is kept warm through the winter months to keep him or her in optimum condition. This will ensure that he or she is fit and ready to do some throat ripping of any canines who don't know their place in the spring and summer months.
Regular refuelling with roast chicken breast (preferably warm) is also recommended."
There is no sunrise shot for today. Nor will there be tomorrow. Nor the day after. Just as my leg is ready to start running again (or at least brisk walking to get back up to speed), yet another blanking rain depression has settled over the Illawarra with a 100% probability of rain between now and Tuesday, with it dropping to "only" 95% on Wednesday, and a mere 70% on Thursday.
Rainfall tomorrow is predicted to be between 45 and 80mm, so it's ark building time.
I could go to the movies over the weekend but aside from Top Gun Maverick (which was excellent) everything else that is showing is garbage.
I think the wolf has the right idea.
