Today was a double Mother's Day celebration for Ginny and our daughter in law Christiane. After church we went to Richard's house for a grand lunch of fajitas. He had made a chocolate pie which was gobbled up in its entirety. Then we headed down to Point Dume (in Malibu) for a hike. Point Dume was very windy. The hike was nice. After that we went for refreshments at Blue Bottle Coffee in Malibu. It was relaxing. The grandkids found a cool playground after finishing their hot chocolate (and spilling it all over their shirts). Here we parted ways as Richard and family returned home to Oak Park and Ginny and I headed to Santa Monica for a five night stay.
It was a great Mother's day for Ginny because we spent it with our son Richard and our sons Robert and David called her and she had a great conversation with both of the. Life is good.
