Show off!!!....lol. Ahhh, you do seem to have a way with technology that we can be envious of....Not yet, but I will eventually go to R and not jump ship to Sony. Thanks for the help. Traveller

Hi Traveller, I have the adapter (both a Canon version and a Villtrox version). I have the version with the control ring, which is a nifty feature on all RF lenses. You can program it to do a lot of different things. I have it set to adjust ISO. All EF and EF-S mount lenses work perfectly on the R bodies with the adapter. In addition to my RF lenses (16 F2.8, 35 F1.8, 50 F1.8, 85 F2, 24-105 F4L) I use my EF 70-200 F2.8 L IS II, my EF 100 F2.8L macro, and my EF mount Tamron 100-400 on my R. They all work like a charm. In fact, because of the amazing DPAF AF of all the R bodies, all my EF mount lenses work better on my R than they did on my EF bodies (7DII, 7D, 50D, 20D, 300D). One of the biggest advantages of the mirrorless bodies, both RF mount and EF-M mount, is that the AF coverage is almost the whole frame. The worst coverage (it's lens dependent) is 80% in each dimension. Many lenses give you 100% vertical coverage and about 95% horizontal coverage. Tracking is also really good.

Well, Mr Norcross, this image did force me to look up the Canon R Series...do you have the converter ring for non-RF lenses? If so, how does it work? Thanks....Traveller
