"C" Class destroyer HMCS Crescent
Originally launched in 1944 for the Royal Navy she was transferred to the RCN in January of 1945 and commissioned in September of 1945.
In 1953 she was converted to a fast A/S frigate which involved stripping the ship to the decks, building a new superstructure and installing new armament for the anti-submarine roll.
She was decommissioned in 1970 and broken up in 1971.
