Nesting box for insects / Which becomes in part a pantry

(Nesting box for multiple insects / Which becomes in part of a pantry)

In this decorative wooden wall (as pantry) several species of insects such as wild bees, wasps, spiders, ladybugs, woodlice,
praying mantis, crickets etc... build their nests there or simply lay their eggs there.
All species of insects such as wild bees, wasps, spiders, ladybugs, woodlice, praying mantis, locusts, ants, bugs, etc.
All these insects build their nests there or simply lay their eggs there. Eggs which will eventually turn into larvae and which,
for the most part, will be food for other insects and several species of mammals and birds in summer and winter. In winter,
several larvae remain in these hiding places to hatch the following spring and thereby become survival food for many animals
such as small rodents and birds such as black-capped chickadees, nuthatches, creepers, woodpeckers, etc. ..

...and which sometimes will themselves become a feast!

Beautiful capture! Great idea, we have a wood pile too, it gives insects etc. something to eat other than the house!
