dairy farm

in 1863 the McCleery brothers from Cork, Ireland were the first Europeans to settle permanently in Vancouver....their riverside dairy farm prospered, but the land was eventually sold to the city by their descendants, and became a golf course in 1959...at least the property has remained a greenspace of sorts, and serves golfers year round

Lovely view through the sunlit trees. Love the rich greens and shadows. My eyes ultimately settle on the golfer and his pushcart, a very nice element to the scene.
