what a winter of discontent...the car is frozen shut as freezing air persists, another snowstorm arrives tonight, and BC is seeing record high new Covid case numbers thanks to the insidious Omigosh variant

it's enough to make a person resigned to staying home, and finally getting around to dusting the bookshelves

The perfect image for a another challenging winter. We're facing a similar ominous situation here due to rocketing Covid cases although thankfully we only have rain to contend with. Maybe just pull out a favourite book and leave the dusting for anther day. V

This is a melancholy masterpiece! The mood hangs so heavy over this work. I believe you will be like me and dusting will quickly turn to reading! I also cannot really see how people who do not read get through dark times such as these. V

Oh no, not dusting the bookshelves! I hate that job, I always get distracted and start looking at books and the job never gets done. So much better to go for a walk and take cool photos. Yes, 2021 is ending poorly.
