the forecast snow did indeed arrive overnight, followed by a day of intense sunshine...this house style is atypical for the northwest, and more like some sort of hacienda del norte

It does look a bit odd to see a hacienda style home covered in snow, but you got a great capture of it and its garden.

So I presume that is a pepper bush in front of the hacienda. I didn't know that red, green and yellow peppers all grow on the same plant.
