Carlsbad Aquafarm

Oysters and clams are grown here. We took a tour and learned a lot about their life cycles.
The highlight of the tour was a lesson in shucking oysters, which I did for the first time in my life.
Though I love oysters, I've always had them opened for me. A fun experience.

It is a hard work sometimes (I open them often as they are a good choice of variety to taste here in Britany) as some resist, but the effort is worth it ! V
