We visited the Alexandria National Museum for a while. Like most museum visits while on a tour, we could have stayed for hours longer to see the stuff there. One exhibit I found pretty cool was artifacts which had been recovered from under the water around the Citadel which was the location of the Alexandria Lighthouse, one of the seven wonders of the world. This part of the city has sunk over time and the statues lay undisturbed under the water. They are in very good condition.
