Looking back up to the entrance. The passage at the back of this image is only about 40" tall. Not recommended for the claustrophobic. At the bottom of the stairs, there is a very large pool of water that used to be for drinking water supply. This tunnel is just outside the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
