Horseshoe Crab Sighting

The horseshoe crabs are back at the beach
Every fall they arrive in large numbers
My brother Tug is a little afraid of them
Funny how he loves fish bones and mussel shells
But he stays away from the horseshoe crabs
Actually I can’t say I blame him
They are rather prehistoric looking

Apparently they have been around for 445 million years, so you are right Tug, they are definitely prehistoric.

Such cute buddies beach combing together...I find the horseshoe crabs fascinating. When we visited Cape Cod a few years ago, we watched them swim up to the beaches...I heard they have blue colored blood? V
