The USA continues to lead the world in both COVID infections and deaths. The US has added 4 Million new cases in under the past month alone...

There remains a continuing strong political defiance against vaccination that seems to be leading to more American suffering and deaths. Although the vaccines are very good - and easily available for those over 12 - so many still refuse to get a vaccination or to even wear a mask. A great portion of them will never be budged in this stand against following the science that could get COVID in the USA under control. Social distancing in the USA is now also a thing of the past for both the vaccinated and the unvaccinated. The end result is another One Million new cases of COVID infections occurring in less than a week. Many of these infections will then followed by increasing deaths by the thousands. Sadly, this all didn't have to happen.

After 18 months of trying to stay optimistic, I'm finally resigned to what America is doing to herself.
We will not defeat this virus. The unvaccinated in the USA are allowing COVID to win.
