Who runs like this? I do. As a young boy, I had an overpowering fear of dogs. In fact, there was one dog that scared me the most. Of course it lived at a house on the corner of our block, and between my house and the school. I had to walk by that house at least twice each day. Each time I tensed and became sharply aware of my surroundings. On one terrifying occasion, I was walking up the alley behind our house to get to the school when this dog came racing around the corner of its garage right at me. It was snarling and growling, with no good intentions, to put it mildly! Quickly, I surveyed the situation and climbed a nearby telephone pole. After jumping onto the roof of a nearby shed, I sat there until the wild and crazy beast below me decided to give up the chase and go home. For days afterward, I walked the long way around the block to get to the school, just so I wouldn't have another encounter with that man-eater from hell!

Great story, and fun drawing. Interesting that he gave the dog those beaver type teeth rather than sharp canine teeth
