This bear was at the edge of the timber line (cutting block boundary)in the logged off area. Loaded with berries for the birds and bears, recent logged off areas provide for a number of animals. The deer and elk love the salmon berry and thimble berry bushes and the willow bushes. In the spring, bees abound gathering pollen from the wide assortment of flowers.
