Jupiter and Io - 2021.07.03 - 10:23 UT

West Des Moines, Iowa, USA

So here I display my image with 2 simulations, both appear to have their issues. On the far left is the simulation generated by JPL's Solar System Simulator, which I had to insert a generation from 6 hours later in order to place the Red Spot in the correct location, and the location of the moon Io was too far away from the planet when calculated for the correct time, but it was in the correct equatorial coordinate. The simulation made by WINJUPOS however had the moon Io much closer to the actual location, but still a bit too far out, and seems to be flipped to the north of the equator, rather than to the south, yet the Red Spot was in the correct location for the correct time.
