This was our lagniappe day in Bettles, Alaska. In the morning we went for a canoe paddle around VOR Lake just south of town. This is the lake where the seaplane base is located. It was pretty leisurely. In the afternoon we got caught up on a bunch of stuff. I worked on the photos and Ginny got busy writing postcards to family and friends. Tomorrow we head down to Fairbanks.
