I just returned from a motorcycle trip to Death Valley and think that the ride along Artist's Drive Loop might have been the highlight of the entire trip. Yes, the weather was awful at times, even resulting in riding through a snowstorm on the way over to Death Valley, as well as getting snowed on at Dante''s Peak. But, this particular ride along this loop was one of the most pleasurable experiences I've ever had on a motorcycle (especially after the slower traffic cleared).
