My Precious...
First Miche in nearly a year. I haven't been able to buy any since the Farmer's Market in Little Italy closed, and it is forty miles to the bakery from our house.
Problem now solved as Prager Bros. opened another bakery in nearby Hillcrest. This bread is just like they bake in Germany.

that looks a familiar loaf, thinking back to the years in Hamburg...my father-in-law back there used to smear goose fat on his bread, definitely a learned taste for an outsider..
