Wanted to try something different and came across this recipe which turned out very well, but took a long time to finish because I had cooked 1.5 pounds of pork instead of the 12 oz. the recipe called for. There was a lot of liquid to cook down to achieve the glistening coating.
Rather than using a wok I used the bottom of a 4 quart pressure cooker.
Pork Belly has become very popular lately and decided to try some when I saw it in Costco, looking like very thick strips of bacon. I have roasted it a couple of times and enjoyed it in "Pork Belly Tacos".
