A friend just asked me if I had more cookbooks than she did, and not wanting to have to count them all I took this picture of the largest part of my collection to show her. These days the only recipe books I buy are used, and come from abebooks.com. Otherwise, I also buy lots of Kindle books which are recommended on daily emails from bookbub.com - I've had terrific bargains from them the prices of which when I recommend them on the next day or thereafter,go back up.

I have realized this late in my life that when I'm interested in something I don't go into it in a light way - I go ALL IN. I don't count cameras or lenses either.

Update, March 2024. The collection has shrunk. Many of these have gone to the Friends of the Library on Spartanburg Highway to be sold for the benefit of the library, for a mere fraction of their original cost.
