I took time to go back to the canals in Naples, Long Beach and enjoy the Christmas decorations again this year.
The weather has been very mild and this is the first time in all the years I've been going there that I've seen paddle boarders.
We stood on one of the bridges and, as they came by, asked them if they worried about falling into the water!
There are boats you can hire to ride around the canals in and enjoy a glass of wine while you view the lights. At my age, that is what I would opt to do.
