The princess waiting for her dinner

Ever since we lived in Budapest, where we had a chef who cooked Sahraa fresh chicken every night for dinner, she has expected chicken for her one meal of the day. We no longer have a chef, so it now falls to us, although we cook chicken thighs in batches (she doesn’t like breasts), and I absolutely refuse to make her rice every night in chicken broth like Endre used to do.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly
unsharp.

I love the way she is patiently waiting! V It seems there are a lot of pampered pooches owned by PBasers, Thumper is a fussy eater as well his favorite is cooked chicken breasts.
I think they have us trained very well!!

Bailey is our princess who demands chicken. However, Bailey only has had us to cook it for her; not a professional chef. She's also not as patient as Sahraa. If she can smell it, Bailey become very demanding & barks and yodels until she gets her chicken. Unlike Sahraa, she does like the white meat. I wonder if our girls know just how pampered they really are. Having experienced having a pro chef, Sahraa maybe more than Bailey. Bailey just knows home cooking. Plus she doesn't get chicken every single day.

Tom Selleck doesn't seem happy that Sahraa is not getting her rice and broth!

She seems a patient princess. It’s fun seeing what she is up to. Tom Selleck seems interested too. V

I can also relate to this image Helen...our boys love chicken...all of it and sometimes they have with rice....when cooking it they lay around waiting until it is ready,...BV

So sweet to see how she is waiting for her dinner, and she knows only too well that it is for her what the owner is doing, her expression is all-important BV

This is also a daily routine at my house. We feed our dog before we eat because if she is not happy, no one is happy. Since all of our kids are grown, our dog Caya seems to be the focus of our attention. We are lucky to have her. This is an image I can really relate to. V+

It’s nice to see her waiting patiently for her dinner and no doubt enjoying the smell as well, Helen. V

It seems like she know who is the boss ~V~

I'd say she is spoiled, but I do something similar, Misha gets plain Greek yogurt, pumpkin and 93% lean ground beef every evening for dinner.

She may be a little spoiled, Helen. Good for her.

a scene of domestic bliss is always reassuring...a bit eerie though with someone resembling Tom Selleck invading your kitchen..

She looks so trusting. I guess she loves the dark meat of chicken. V

I see the hearts on her dishes - lots of love for her as well as her preferred meals. Do you get the same royal treatment ??
