The Last 80 Degree Day 2020

for a long while

Much cooler weather tomorrow. Cold weather by Friday…
It looks like our warm outdoors weather may be over for this season.

***************************

Along with the bees and the skippers and our resident groundhogs, I spent a pleasant day outside in the “Indian Summer" warmth today. Tempts tomorrow will be 20 degrees cooler with rain. It will be even cooler the next day. Those cool temperatures are supposed to remain for the foreseeable future. The groundhogs will probably now take the drop in temperatures as a sign that it’s finally time to go into hibernation.

Life moves on. However, April/May will eventually return & the outdoors season will then start once again.

The skipper above is sampling an aging Zinnia bloom. Here is the somewhat unusual plant: https://pbase.com/image/171131858
