The Landing Pub was a Quadra Island institution for many years. Located by the Quathiaski Cove
ferry terminal, the pub was a favorite of people waiting for the ferry. It was a convenient place
to grab a beer and some bar food before departure. But business was not brisk enough and the
owners had the place on the market for several years. It doesn’t appear that a buyer stepped
forward and the pub has now shut down and has rather quickly fallen into disrepair.

I always enjoyed passing by the road-side sign with the pub’s motto: “No bad days!”
