The dry build to get an idea of how the bricks come together.
My first attempt at bricklaying and I have not made it easy for myself.
The outer bricks date from the reign of Queen Victoria.
Not only are they imperial size bricks, but they come from different manufacturers.
As a result, while they are roughly 9" x 4.5" x 4", the different manufacturers used different moulds, so they are not uniform.
The inner bricks are metric and all measure 211mm x 75mm x 102mm.
I'll make it work.
