First, prepare all the ingredients. Cut chicken breasts crosswise into thin slices. Clean and devein prawns.
Slice green cabbage into thin slices. Cut carrots into thin matchsticks. Slice an onion into slivers, chop
a clove of garlic and cut spring onions into short lengths. Make the sauce by mixing a Tbs soy sauce,
a Tbs oyster sauce and a Tbs fish sauce, seasoned with a few grinds of black pepper. Soak or cook rice noodles
according to the packet directions. Heat some oil in a large frying pan and fry the onion and garlic for a
couple of minutes, then add the chicken pieces, stir-frying until they turn white. Add the prawns, cabbage
and carrots and stir-fry these for another minute or so, then add in the rice noodles, together with the sauce
and continue to stir-fry until everything is hot and coated with the sauce. Garnish with the spring onions
and serve immediately, with a wedge of lime.
