According to a Missouri State Government statement, there will be "no limitations on social gatherings... The Missouri Governor brands face mask use a personal choice.” In other words, you don’t have to protect anyone else from possible COVID if you don’t want too to be bothered with a mask. In Missouri, it's basically everyone for themselves.

Although the 50/60 people at the neighbors' party yesterday didn't get on the "news",
this ( https://www.cbsnews.com/news/social-media-video-shows-lake-of-the-ozarks-packed-for-memorial-day-weekend-amid-coronavirus-pandemic/ ) made International News.
Only 125 miles South of Kansas City, Lake of the Ozarks and Osage Beach are very popular Summertime and weekend destinations for the Kansas City & St Louis metros. That area is known for its "party atmosphere". Odds are high that many people, who are spending this Memorial Day weekend partying without regard to the on-going pandemic, will be returning to both cities with the virus. Our local news casters are quite concerned about what this will mean for our metro in the weeks to come. Unfortunately, the "party" at Lake of the Ozarks & Osage Beach continues every weekend of a normal Summer. We're just at the start of Summer.
Missouri Governor Mike Parson's reopening plan specifically allowed gyms and hotel swimming pools to reopen. So "the Wild West" is now the "new normal" in Missouri during a pandemic: https://www.kmov.com/news/watch-packed-pool-party-at-lake-of-the-ozarks-shows-crowd-ignoring-social-distancing-guidelines/article_5de50ce8-9dbb-11ea-bd46-6b8e99107093.html
Every "man" for himself. There is no limitations & no government protection.

We had a nice, quiet, "safe" day at home today. I did more wildlife photography & played with the dogs. My husband puttered around the house & yard. Then, he barbequed chicken on the charcoal grill. It's amazing how much better chicken tastes on the old fashioned, charcoal grill than on our fancy gas grill. It was a treat. We finished the day by watching the 2020 National Memorial Day Concert on PBS. Normally, we'd be out & about for the entire long, Memorial Day weekend. Nevertheless, I feel content with what we're doing this weekend. The goal right now is to just stay healthy and to survive (while retaining a personal quality of life) until life can someday really return to completely normal.
