Seaside Sparrows are such cool little birds that I have a really difficult time passing up an opportunity to photograph one. This one “decided” to hold me up on my way to look for migrant songbirds a couple of weeks ago. As I was on my way to one of my favorite migrant-traps I heard him calling from the grass and just had to stop for a second to see if I could spot him. Well a dew seconds turned into more than an hour. At least I got a photo out of it!!
