The Infant moth (Archiearis infans)

Ferguson Forest

A day-flying moth in the Geometridae family, quite small, but very noticeable in the sunshine as they land on the roads in front of one. The name "The Infant" according to Bug Guide "refers to the adult's early emergence from a pupa in the spring."
