The Peace Palace was opened in August 1913 for its original purpose of the home of Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA). Now, the occupants of Peace Palace includes Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA),
Permanent Court of International Justice, Peace Palace Library of International Law, Carnegie Foundation (Netherlands) and The Hague Academy of International Law.
The construction of Peace Palace is in Neo-Renaissance style.
