A Whole Bunch of Almost Nothing

East of Amarillo, TX

I included this picture, which is just a right out of the camera snapshot, to show what a lot of the drive was actually like. This image shows my new Toyota RAV4 Hybrid parked on a side road by Interstate 40 while Neil and I were taking pictures of windmills( https://pbase.com/dlgphoto/image/169968796). Note the flat horizon, plain blue sky and basically farming or grazing land as far as the eye can see. This is what a lot of Oklahoma, Texas and eastern New Mexico was like. But all the towns along the way provided a lot of photo opportunities.

Very typical of Australia as well. Opposite side of the road of course. V!

I admire the vast open and flat spaces in the Southwest, living in Germany I see almost non of this! Cool shot and nice choice of ride too, Dan. V

I imagine these prairies experience magnificent sunrises and sunsets as ours do. This side road looks to be impeccably maintained.

May be a whole lot of nothing but you did include the curve in the road... typical photographer :-)

Fortunately if you have a photographers outlook something will catch your eye where ever you are...even if it's a pattern shot.
