Dusk at the Blue Swallow

Tucumcari, NM

I would love to have had two more old, period correct, cars and control of the scene to be able to replace the two modern cars in this scene.

The color version can be seen at: https://pbase.com/dlgphoto/image/169971332

A little photoshop post processing could hide those newer cars...

Such keen vision to convert. I love this one as well. VVV

I believe that the reason for the success of the trip was your planning and tenacious drive to keep going which most I have been with would not go to the extent you did. Your physical help to me due to sciatica was caring and much needed.

Great shot in b&w. Good job in "hiding" the modern cars. "V"

I agree with Neil. Great old movie mood ! The modern cars are enough in the dark not to ruin your composition...This is a very beautiful monochrome ! BV.

There is a film noir feel to this that is more appealing to me than the color version. I can imagine that Humphrey Bogart will come out of the lobby with Lauren Bacall.
