The extended baggage area required aluminum side panels.
Here I am making and fitting paper templates that will later be used as patterns for marking the aluminum.
The top of the fuselage structure (called the turtle deck) is all new steel.
The gross weight increase STC called for the aluminum stringers to be replaced with welded steel.
I replace the entire thing from the upper longerons up.
