As soon as I decided to revive my interest in photography by dusting down my D200 and polishing my lenses I contacted my old friend and former Pbase photographer, Gavin, to arrange an outing to Glenfinnan via Glencoe. That was back at the beginning of June, and since then we have headed out together three times: the first time to Glenfinnan and Glencoe (when I managed to lock the keys of my car in the boot, in the middle of a torrential rainstorm in the middle of nowhere), then to Sanna Beach at the very westernmost point of the Ardnamurchan peninsula (where we met an eccentric Russian woman who was "doing magic"), and most recently to my island, the Isle of Bute. Indeed, it was on our trip to that destination that we took a break here, the Falls of Falloch.
