This was partially a travel day. We flew from Maui to Kauai. Immediately upon arrival we headed out to Eleele for a grand ocean going adventure. We booked a sunset tour on Captain Andy's giant 65 foot catamaran. We had been told that if the water was rough it might be uncomfortable, but the water was smooth and we had an excellent trip up the very scenic Napali coast of Kauai. To make things even better, a steak and shrimp dinner was served and there was all the beer and wine you could want.

The Napali coast is very scenic. There are lots of rugged green covered valleys and lots of big sea caves. As we motored along, watching the coast was mesmerizing. We met some interesting people and had a grand old time. Today's photo is from the aft section of the boat. Captain arranged to have a nice sunset.
