(SG) Last week, I posted a photo labeled Rabbit art. This time it's insect art. I am fascinated by the beautiful patterns made by insects and other creatures. In this photo you can see the original line where the mother insect laid eggs under the bark of this now-fallen tree. As the eggs hatched, each larva headed out in a different direction, munching wood as it traveled. At the end of each trail, a larva pupated and/or emerged from the tree as an adult.
